CLAY
SAIGON

A quiet place at the end of an alley,

designed to feel like home

Tucked away on the riverbank, the space has a calm, understated character. We reflected that through subtle branding elements that quietly reveal themselves throughout the experience.

We created a narrative that would resonate with European expats living in Vietnam as well as with locals. We built a brand centred on belonging, focused on making everyone feel welcome.

The whole restaurant is built around experience, creating events, concerts and opportunities for all to mingle, talk, dance together. At the end “We are all made of Clay”.

Interior by Studio Duo Architect created a warm, cozy space designed for modular use — adaptable to a range of different occasions.

The concept was inspired by the riverbank, its flow, and the movement of water. That language carried through the identity—from graphics and marketing materials to merchandise and details within the space.

“It’s not barbecue and it’s not smoking… it’s something in between. Unique… The heart of our kitchen is the wood fired oven.”

This project reminded us that the strongest identities don’t need to be loud. Sometimes the most memorable brands are the ones discovered gradually.
